The Louisville Metro Democratic Democratic Club sponsored the first Democratic primary senatorial debate and invited all the candidates from the Louisville area to participate. Mike Cassaro and Gregg Fischer participated. Bruce Lunsford couldn’t make it to the event. Mark Hebert moderated the debate. The video, in its entirety, is below and is about 1 hr long. Kenneth Stepp another Democratic candidate for Senator was also at the event, but did not participate in the debate, because he is not from the Louisville area, but I did get a short statement from him and the video is below. All of the candidates have one thing in common, defeat Senator Mitch McConnell.
Heather Ryan Democratic Congressional candidate for Kentucky’s 1st Cogressional District was also at the event and was kind enough to give me a short interview, the video is below. To find out why Heather Ryan decided to run for Congress click here.

This was an amazing event, I’ve tried to to condense it to give you a flavor of what occurred. The Speeches lasted for over an hour and the video below has been condensed to less than ten minutes.

I had the opportunity to video tape Markel Hutchins at the “Stand Up Fight Back” rally in Frankfort, Ky. March 2006 and I must say this young man can speak and inspire. Last night I had the opportunity to video tape him again and I wasn’t disappointed!!!

The Louisville Metro Democratic Club invited us to show video of the Democratic Fancy Farm speakers and gave Ditch Mitch Kentucky the opportunity to show some Ditch Mitch video and talk about our efforts to unseat Senator Mitch McConnell.
Shawn Dixon gave one hell of a presentation. The video of Shawn is below. I am so proud of Shawn I’m going to ask him if he would consider me being his unofficial Grandfather. This is the young man that that spearheaded the effort to get John Edwards to come to Columbus, Kentucky.
