Remember Congressman Bob Livingston saying "I have decided to inform my colleagues and my constituents that during my 33-year marriage to my wife, Bonnie, I have on occasion strayed from my marriage. Doing so nearly cost me my marriage and my family." Bob Livingston resigned and now heads up the Livingston Group . Recently Bernie Robinson a Livingston group consultant has been very generous to Kentucky Republicans.

The Livingston Group represents Libya (Remember Pan Am 103? ) as lobbyist in Washington D.C. The Livingston Group has also represented Turkey as lobbyist in Washington D.C.
Congress Watch, an arm of Public Citizen, released a 49-page report highlighting ethical concerns about the Livingston Group’s lobbying efforts for the Turkish Government. The report details the efforts by Livingston, to secure a "$1 billion supplemental appropriation for Turkey. . . despite that country’s refusal to allow U.S. troops to use its soil as a staging area for the Iraq invasion. He also helped kill an amendment that would have formally recognized the Armenian Genocide that occurred between 1915 and 1923."
