Well, well, well. It now appears that Sen. Wide Stance has decided to try to get his guilty plea dismissed (huh?) and recant on his intent to resign from the Senate. Bizarre.

What’s even more bizarre is Mitch McConnell’s response. Howdy Doody has gone from shoving Craig out of the Senate cloakroom to essentially sanctioning his effort to renig on his resignation and serve out his term.

Here’s Josh Marshall’s reaction:

Okay, Sen. McConnell has now sanctioned Sen. Craig’s bizarre decision to recant his guilty plea and his resignation.

What’s Sen. Craig got on Mitch McConnell?

Yes, Josh. It does make one wonder.

Here’s video of McConnell’s very odd statement.
