Right now there's already a draft in the sense rural kids can't find any work accept joining the Army. I don't think the right will go with any sort of fair draft though and that's the problem with it. They'd figure out some way for all the young wannabe Dick Cheneys to avoid serving. As far as service, I've always though there should be some sort of National Service requirement. If the Bush twins were eligible to be drafted, we probably wouldn't have a war going on.
