Very nice piece. I did not know about this organization. It makes me even more proud of being in the Writers Guild, an AFL-CIO affiliated union.

Unions have, over the years, been saddled with a bad name and blamed for the collapse of our manufacturing base. Working America can serve as a great introduction to unprotected worker, showing them what unions can really do to lift up the American worker. Thank for writing about this. You guys keep producing the good work--keep it up. Even with the demise of the Bluegrass Report, I see the Kentucky blogosphere growing every day and you guys, both on DitchMitchKy and your own blogs are surely contributing to these exciting times.
