Friendly Wagerin’: Libby Sentenced

Terri Whitehouse June 5th, 2007

It’s true! Lewis “Scooter” Libby, former chief of staff to VP Dick Cheney, was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison, fined $250,000, and placed on probation for 2 years following his release from prison for his role in the CIA leak investigation. Provided his sentencing isn’t overturned on appeal, my money’s on a December 2008 pardon.

my money’s on early August, right before he’s supposed to go in the slammer. Bush won’t take a chance on Scooter singing to the feds once he finds out that he’s someone’s bitch.
