Folks In Western Kentucky Chant Ditch Mitch McConnell

Kentucky Dam Village Convention Center:
As we all know this is the last debate Senator Mitch McConnell agreed to have. After this debate there will be no more because Mitch McConnell has turned down all of the others , including the KET offer that would have been televised for the whole state to see. Once again Senator Mitch McConnell picked a time and venue that made it difficult for his constituents to see him in action. This was an early morning debate and live streamed via the web. Surely Mitch understands that most folks are working this time of day and wouldn’t be able to see him tell us how good things are and surely he knows that it takes high speed internet service to watch live streaming video, but I guess Mitch felt this was the patriotic thing to do.
Plenty of folks were outside the convention center to greet Mitch (snark), but they never got a glimpse of Mitch. Some say he slipped in the back door and others say he waited in a local gasoline station until the protestors left before he went into the Convention Center. Hell who knows, but I do know this Bruce Lunsford walked in the front door of the Convention Center like a man on a mission. Bruce didn’t dodge anyone.
It was a real sight to behold. Right there in Western Kentucky Mitch McConnell’s stronghold and folks were chanting Ditch Mitch and 24 years is enough. I suggest to you these folks are the real patriots and I’ll bet the ones there that served in the military would be more than happy to show you their military honorable discharge papers. How about that Mitch? When will you show us yours?

Jim,
Having been a 56 year life long resident of far Western Ky I felt it prudent that I view the photos you posted of folks chanting “Ditch Mitch”. Here’s what I saw from your posted photos. First, it appears there were about a grand total of 15-20 people in the photos. Of them was former Gov. Paul Patton who as we all know was a moral model governor of Kentucky and former Gov Julian Carroll, a native son of McCracken County who after being elected governor never saw fit to return to the county that he was so very proud to hail from but is back in the state legislature AND supports the election of a 3 charge convicted felon into the state legislature. I noted that former Gov John Y Brown was also in attendance. I really admired him with one disappointment. He would have made a great republican in any other state besides KY but in Ky you can’t own a huge financially successful company, marry a Miss America and be elected governor unless you’re a dem.
I wish you and yours well. Be careful what you wish for as you may surely get it.
larry0927,
Did you wish for George Bush? Surely it’s obvious to you what Bush has done to our country. This is bigger than Dems and Republicans. Our country is at stake.
Jim,
Did I wish for Bush 43? No, but I wished for Kerry and Gore even less. You are more than correct. It should be bigger than Dems vs Republicans but from all of your postings on this website I don’t think you really see it that way. One of the reasons that I continue to read this website but rarely post anymore is because most of the contributors don’t welcome any dialogue with an opposing view.
I am and have always been a registered democrat because in my district if you want to vote in a primary, you had best be a registered dem but I have never and I mean never voted for any candidate simply because of their party affiliation. If I understand your postings correctly, you are more than willing to vote for a presidential candidate who had been in congress for exactly 143 days when he declared his candidacy, willing to vote into congress a multimillionaire(sounds like a GOP) who bankrupted a huge company vs the second most powerful senator(that equates to millions into your state) and willing to vote for a woman with no experience whatsoever because she has a hard on for McConnell. Everyone is a Dem. Don’t preach to me that this is bigger than Dems or GOP.
For what’s it is worth. I have little doubt that your candidates will win most but not all of the races. Let’s agree to talk in two years when there are no federal funds coming into KY and the federal government is so entrenched in your personal life that freedom of choice is no longer in your vocabulary.
I wish you well and I wish you peace.
I saw Fred,Danny, his wife, and so many more from Graves co. that i have worked with over the years.I also saw the van that hauled in Mitch bunch I didn’t see a one I
recognized
Mitch has used veterans in so many negative ads,if Mitch is so proud of vet’s why hasn’t he release his military records?
I’m a veteran from 65/69 who support Bruce.
Just DITCH MITCH, he has been a part of the worst leadership in 200 years. Kentucky Change. Kentucky is beautiful and you deserve better leadership for your state. McConnell has made enough money to retire, and give it up for someone that will take care of ALL people in Kentucky.

Just check this out.
To larry0927:
This national election is not about the candidates. It is about Republicans vs America. Republicans drove America into the ditch with an unnecessary war of choice pushed into being with lies, and with tax cuts we can not afford. Bush, McConnell and the Republicans have DOUBLED the national debt in just 8 years. Republicans
wrecked America. Just the facts………..
Mitch is a member of the global elite, the Council on Foreign Relations. Many people will tell you that this is the most anti-American organization in the world. A part of the CFR’s agenda has been the redistribution of wealth by shipping American jobs overseas.
Mitch’s Chinese wife, Elaine Chao, is George W. Bush’s Labor Secretary. Elaine’s father owns one of the largest shipping companies in China. Every time you go to a Walmart or Target, think about the hundreds of millions of dollars that American workers have lost out on due to Mitch’s loyalty to China. Mitch’s father-in-law profits enormously from importing the Chinese goods into the U.S.
I don’t know how everyone else feels about this picture, but it’s a big conflict of interest to me.
Mitch doesn’t care about your job or the welfare of your family. He only cares about the money he will get from the major banks for bailing them out and the big corporations that he serves.
Mitch McConnel is not a true Kentuckian or American. He hides his face in shame because he knows he has betrayed Kentucky and the American citizens.
BTW, Bruce doesn’t owe Mitch any apology insinuating he is corrupt. Mitch is corrupt! He’s a crook! Furthermore, Mitch owes more apologies to more Kentuckians than he can comprehend.
The only time Mitch cares about Kentucky is when it’s election time.
