It does not surprise me that Elaine is campaigning for her robot husband Mitch McConnell. Elaine Chao’s father James owns Foremost Maritime of New York. This company ships raw materials to Communist China and buys ships from Communist China. Mitch McConnell, Elaine Chao, and James Chao even visited mainland China in 1994 and met with Jiang Zemin World Net Daily, January 17, 2001, Paul Sperry.

I guess that Mitch was looking over the country that he was going to send YOUR job to. For the last few years all Mitch McConnell and Henry Paulson have talked about are the developing economies of China and India but very little about the failing economy of the United States has been discussed by these two. Mitch McConnell voted to extend most favored nation trading status to Communist China in 2000 and voted to normalize relations with Communist Vietnam in 2001. There are plenty of countries in Asia that are not ruled by totalitarian Governments such as Thailand, Japan, and Taiwan, but Communist Mitch McConnell is worried about the economy of a COMMUNIST country in Asia. What does this tell you about Elaine Chao and Mitch McConnell? The United States isolates itself from Cuba, but not China. Just look at what the Chinese have done to the Tibetans recently. Did you hear Mitch McConnell or Elaine Chao say anything about this? You probably won’t. Go ahead, call me a racist but remember China is a country and not a race. Before you vote research the issues and see who McConnell supports and what kind of morals, if any, he has.

McConnell has been the biggest supporter of the Smirking Chimp Bush in the US Senate. When Bush took office, there was a budget surplus, a stable economy, and low inflation. Today, after 7 years and 9 months of Bush and McConnell, we have seen the national debt DOUBLE, the economy is in shambles, and inflation is high and rising.
Only a total idiot would vote for McConnell.

Sources tell us that Jim Bunning is now referring to Mitch McConnell as COMRADE MITCH!
Republican senator Jim Bunning vocalized the ideological opposition to the $700 billion banking bail-out plan, championed by Republican senate leader Mitch McConnell, calling the scheme "financial socialism," and "un-American". Bunning, who balked at rescuing Wall Street's finest (and richest) from a mess of their own making, insisted that "they (those who were for the bail-out) ought to go join the communist party."
Bunning said "The only way anyone has any confidence that this plan will work is if the government overpays and gives a windfall to the banks and others selling their bad investments," Bunning said. "But that is not just dishonest, it is also not even the most efficient way of getting funds into the institutions."
McConnell joined Democratic Senate Leader Harry Reid and other key senators of both parties to add several provisions to the original legislation proposed by Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.(namely $107 billion in PORK*)
*Some of those additions have been assailed by spending watchdogs as "pork," like the $6 million for the makers of kids' wooden arrows, according to a summary of the bill released by the Senate Finance Committee. Other goodies intended to attract the votes of individual members of Congress include $192 million for the rum producers of Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands, $128 million for car racing tracks, $33 million for corporations operating in American Samoa, and $10 million for small film and television productions.
No, COMRADE MITCH has not gone all soft on social programs for the poor -like insurance for little kids, or keeping social security/medicare for old people - he just couldn't resist a bill fattened with $100 billion in sweeteners, and extended tax cuts for his fat cat friends.

the Paducah sun 10/10/ 08, what Ky has got in pork would have paid for SCHIP for how many years for all of the U.S.
Chao said. “Mitch secured $500 million(PORK) for Kentucky projects in the last year alone
Chao cited the $9 million that the U.S. Senate approved for Paducah’s riverfront development (PORK) project and McConnell’s work on behalf of former Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant workers."why are so many protesting the REPUBLICAN at some of the events"
