This is a fine example of “Natural Law”. If the Vice President wants to violate the Constitution then we say that the Constitution was written years ago and we need ignore it because times have changed. The Vice President is President of the Senate but has no vote unless the Senate is equally divided. The Vice President can not vote in the Senate unless there is a tie and is a member of the executive branch. Also the President pro tempore of the Senate can fill in for the Vice President in case the Vice President is absent. The constitution is plain about this but many of the Republican that I have talked to say outright that we can no longer go by the Constitution. Just look at the words of Ed Meese that if a person is arrested they must be guilty and this man is part of the Heritage Foundation. And as we all know the Heritage Foundation wants to export every job that they can get their hands on to bribe foreign third world countries and do what they call “spreading freedom”, or “creating trading partners”. Really all they want to do is lower the standard of living of all the Citizens of the United States. Just look at the bug eyed blank staring McConnell. All he ever talks about is the developing economies of China and India and to hell with the United States. What is really sad is that many people in Kentucky will vote for McConnell because “my daddy was a Republican”. If you think that Mitch McConnell “talks to Jesus”, I suggest that you read your Bible again and look at the way Mitch McConnell behaves especially when Mitch’s campaign ad writers twist the words of Adolfo Piña into a lie to benefit Mitch McConnell’s campaign. Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Tina Fey has it right. The American people should listen to her.
