Private Poll Confirms McConnell in Tough Race

With news over the weekend that polls show Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) in a much closer than expected race for re-election, the Rothenberg Political Report has seen a private poll — not yet released — which confirms the dead heat.

Bottom line: “Because of that, we are moving this race from Clear Advantage for McConnell to Narrow Advantage for McConnell, and we would not argue with anyone who rated the contest as a Toss-Up.”

Most people have already made up their minds how they will vote. It seems that only now the truth is coming to the surface. Most people have seen the damage to the United States economy that Mitch and Elaine have done. The thing that bothers me most is that a lot of people still seem to stress the point that Barack Obama is of racially mixed heritage. What difference does this really make? John McCain has already told us that he favors the continued exportation of the economy of the United States, continuing wars in the Middle East, and the exportation of services paid for by your tax dollars to foreign countries. John McCain will thumb his nose at the citizens of the United States and our prosperity. The only AMERICAN and logical choices are Lunsford for Senate and Obama for President. If you feel that you must, go ahead and vote for Mitch McConnell, a Senator who feels that he is too good to answer your questions and will only respond with a blank, bugged eyed stare, and an open mouth if the coward doesn’t run off, first.
