More on John McCain’s Publicity Stunt
Shawn Dixon September 25th, 2008
I just walked in from class and switched the TV on to MSNBC to hear McCain policy adviser and talking head Nancy Pfotenhauer spouting off the campaign talking points about how brave it was for McCain to suspend his campaign.
That’s just classic John McCain, she insinuated.
Notice, I just saw his policy adviser and spokesperson, at work, on tv, campaigning during a suspended campaign.
If your surrogates and campaign spokespeople are still on tv making the rounds on political talk shows and attacking Obama, how suspended is your campaign?

Maybe he was just flying by the seat of his pants. What he may have meant is that he will be using his “suspenders” during this crisis, ie his spokespeople holding up his drawers so no one will catch him with his pants down..so as not to scare the pants off us…so we know who wears the pants..uh…OK I’ll stop now.
Washington Mutual just bit the dust. Five or more down and still counting…Good work Mitch. I’ll bet when we are all in the bread line there will be some Kentuckians that will still worship you. It’s a shame that there are still so many stupid people in the world.
Suprise! Suprise! John (Herbert Hoover) McCain tried to sucker the Democrats and America.
POW POW POW. Drill Drill Drill. BOMB BOMB BOMB Iran.
.from thinkprogress:
At the bipartisan White House meeting that McCain “didn’t speak until 43 minutes into the meeting.” He “sat silently for more than 40 minutes, more observer than leader, and then offered only a vague sense of where he stood, said people in the meeting.”
Sen. Chris Dodd said, “Instead of being a rescue plan for our economy it was a rescue plan for John McCain.” Sen. Chuck Schumer urged Bush to “respectfully tell Sen. McCain to get out of town. He’s not helping.” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid added, “We had [Republican] Senator [Bob] Bennett, a high ranking official, who said these are the principles. And then, guess who came to town? And it all fell apart.”
McCain’s handling of the negotiations serves to underscore his comment in Dec. 2007 that he is “not an expert on Wall Street” and “not an expert of some of this stuff”
“McCain Wins Debate!”
A McCain campaign web ad released this morning declaring “McCain Wins Debate!” — was put out even before the candidate had announced he was planning to debate.
The whole episode left even conservatives admitting that the McCain campaign looked erratic and a bit foolish with no apparent direction or guiding principle.
I will bet the stupid Main Stream Media will go along with this regurgatating this crap.

What wrong with this description? It sounds like a grant proposal rather than a release because the sentence describes not what the dance is , but what it’s trying to do. As I’ve said before , the goal of a critic isn’t the same as the goal of a gra…
