Bush Legacy Tour, Gives Senator Mitch McConnell Hell!! Video And Photos.
Jim Pence June 27th, 2008
Here in Kentucky we have a real chance to get rid of our toothless obstructionist Senator Mitch McConnell. Yesterday the Bush Legacy Tour bus was in Louisville again. Bill Londrigan had a few things to say about Senator Mitch McConnell and so did his Democratic opponent Bruce Lunsford.
Senator Mitch McConnell had his video tracker there to tape everything anyone had to say. It sure would be nice if Bruce Lunsford would track Senator Mitch McConnell with a video camera, but that would be tough because Senator Mitch McConnell is afraid to appear in public, for fear of public protest. I know this because I’ve tried to get video of him in the following places: Buckner, Ky., Berea, Ky., Louisville, Ky. at the Olmsted BOO-LA-LA Fete D’Halloween gala and even at his own home but the chickenshit Senator from Kentucky sneaks in and out of these venues avoiding his constituents.
Bruce Lunsford has a real chance to defeat Senator Mitch McConnell and this Hillbilly will do everything he can to see that Senator Mitch McConnell and his wife Elaine Chao are exposed for the right wing, necon, Jesus talkin’, evil walkin’, lying, hypocrites they really are.
I have put together videos and photos of the Bush Legacy Tour event in Louisville, Kentucky June 26, 2008. The videos are below.

The price of Gasoline was $4.29 in Shepherdsville, KY on June 27, 2008. Let me explain something. If you buy something made of plastic or in a plastic container oil is used to make the product or container. Oil is used to transport the product to the retailer. Oil is used in the machinery used to grow food. Some of the synthetic fabrics used in clothing are made with oil. Petrolium products lubricate the engine in your car. Gasoline is only a small part of what we should be worring about.
You take care of your own first. Mitch McConnell and John McCain will not do this. These two do not care about the United States citizenry. Foreign Policy does not adress domestic issues like oil. Bruce Lunsford can talk to the citizens of the United States. John McCain and Mitch McConnell will not talk one on one to the citizens of this country because from their view points the common citizens of the United States are beneath them.
In November I believe that I would vote for someone who supports this country and its citizenry instead of this foreign policy crap. We need AMERICANS for Senate and President.
By the way, Jim why didn’t you interview the tracker? (or should I say slacker?)
To charles Says:
No I didn’t, but we did have a short polite conversation.
Evil McConnell voted this past week against a bill which would have stopped the 10 percent cut in payments to doctors providing health care to Medicare members. Exactly WHEN will KY citizens WAKE UP, and vote this evil fool OUT?? McConnell loves the unnecessary war of choice costing $10-12
BILLION a month, but he does not care about KY citizens. The coming reduction in payments to doctors providing Medicare will mean more and more doctors will refuse Medicare patients. Can you blame them?? Would
you like a 10 percent cut in your salary??
You and everyone else have already have taken a giant pay cut due to Mitch McConnell. Every time the government bails out a failed investment bank with printed money, the money that is in circulation is worth less. As pointed out by William, McConnell does not care about the ordinary people in Kentucky, their livelyhood, or healthcare. McConnell must go.
I was down town Paducah taking pictures of the flood wall murals , seen where Whitfield was going to open up his campaign office that day, thought i would stick around take a picture of him, guess what they let him out at the front door and when it was over they took him out the back!!!.now if i was running for reelection I would been out shaking hand asking for your vote.
wonder if tri-state knows when he will be back in western Ky..LOL
Here is a thought, I began watching this video thinking that it was going to be exciting. I found an older gentlemen stuttering like crazy and wasn’t well prepared to make a speech. We need young invorgerated people to stand up against the political machine of Mitch McConnell. I wish I could be home fighting for this good fight, but Mr. Bush and Mr. McConnell sent me to fight a war that should have never been waged in Iraq.
If people in Kentucky could actually hear what we (Soldiers) are saying over here about the situation of the country. A lot of are fighting a struggle within to fight against speaking out. The only medium I have is the internet. I wish I could inspire change in the way the Democrats do things. We desperately need to fight against the big corporations and return the white house back to the people. After all, the first line of the constitution is WE THE PEOPLE.
We the Democrats need to stop acting like we are afraid to speak out. Afraid to have something actually organized. If you look at that video there we maybe 20 people there and a lack luster speaker that didn’t inspire the crowd. I keep seeing seeing polls that say Senator Obama base is excited about their candidate. Senator Obama won in Louisville by 10 points against Clinton. Your telling me that this is the best we can do to organize a rally? Why wasn’t Mr. Lunsford speaking against the worst two Senators in recent memory.
Before we can change the country we need to change we do things as Kentuckians. We need to get excited and actually get the word out to Democrats that there is a rally being taken place. I visted http://www.bruce2008.com and I didn’t see any mention of a rally. The only website that is getting any traction to this is this site, but it’s not enough. There have only been roughly half a millionm hits on this site and it doesn’t include repeat hits.
Let’s get motivated. Encourage the youth who to lead in debated and discussions. Let’s get out of the mindset that only the older generation care about politics. I am 20 years and I can see that this stragety will fall flat on its face if it is not changed.
To Percy Says:
I wish you were here too and it sure would be nice to have young invigorated people standing up, but until some do this old man will be out there shooting video of the events like the one above above.
Please contact us when you get back and we will put you in touch with those that are doing their best to change our country for the better.
God’s speed and stay safe!
Percy stay safe, thanks for what you are doing ,I to wish more young people would get involved but until then us old farts will keep trying LOL

I want to thank both Mike and Jim for wishing me the best while I am deployed. It means a whole lot, especially to know that I may not ever meet you and shake your hand. I will return in January of 2009, hopefully I will be home in 2010 to get rid of the other dirt bag that “represents” our great state. I cannot wait to return home next January and know that I have a new senator that for once represents me and my interest, as well as a president that does not fit the norm in washington. Until then, I will do everything in my power to urge my friends and other young folks to hold up the arms and take over for some of you “old farts.” I appreciate all that y’all do to try and turn our country, our government, and our state back on the right track.
Notice in the last sentence I used to word OUR to refer to our government. I am tired of people saying THE government needs to change. WE need to start taking action and realizing that it is US that change government. Please remember the constitution in every time you talk to your friends and family about politics. It is made of WE THE PEOPLE. It’s kind of like the bible, in all things do ye in the name of Lord Jesus Christ. Well, in all things pertaining to politics, do ye in the name of WE THE PEOPLE.
