There is an article on Yahoo News about independent truckers going out of business because of the price of Diesel fuel. I think that it is odd that at the current exchange rate of the Chinese Yuan and the United States dollar that the Chinese still pay much less for four liters of Gasoline than we do per gallon. (there are 1.06 quarts in a liter so four liters is about the same as a gallon). Evidently Mitch thinks that it is O.K. to drive the Citizens of the United States into bankruptcy if we are sending their jobs and fuel to a “developing nation” whether it is Communist or not. Mitch, if you read this please give me a call. I have contacted your office enough that you should have my telephone number. Mitch, no one in my family or their in-laws have ever been on a first name basis with the leader of a Communist country and no one in my family has ever tried to turn the United States department of Labor into an employment agency for Illegal Immigrants. Mitch, can you say the same? Mitch you are so evil and corrupt that I doubt that even Jim’s spray would phase you and Scott McClellan’s book might even be a compliment to you.

Yesterday, CNN’s Jessica Yellin, who previously covered the White House for ABC News, agreed with Scott McClellan’s assessment that the media were “too deferential to the White House” before the Iraq war. Yellin said news executives pushed her not to do hard-hitting pieces on the Bush administration:
The press corps was under enormous pressure from corporate executives, frankly, to make sure that this was a war presented in way that was consistent with the patriotic fever in the nation and the president’s high approval ratings. And my own experience at the White House was that the higher the president’s approval ratings, the more pressure I had from news executives…to put on positive stories about the president.
“[T]hey would edit my pieces,” Yellin said. “They would push me in different directions. They would turn down stories that were more critical, and try to put on pieces that were more positive.”

As Congressman Yarmuth said on the Terry Meiners show on May 28, this book by Scott McClellan is nothing new. It merely states what decent sane people have known all along about George Bush. What this book will do is shut up the Holy Rollin’ nut cases that support the very trashy George Bush. By the way, Mitch McConnell says the he is the biggest supporter of George Bush in the Senate. What does this say about Mitch McConnell?

Oh, also, by the way, Ford has just announced another round of layoffs because of falling revenue due to gasoline prices. Mitch McConnell thinks that this is good and that we should export our enitre economy to Communist China and India. Just look at the appliance division at General Electric which may be sold to Communist China. Congradulations Mitch your war on the citizens of the United States is going very nicely. Mitch, your hatred of the United States and the citizenry here is evident. Mitch, you DO NOT represent the United States.

Mitch McConnell supports Nuclear power generation. If a reactor malfunctions and the control rods warp, covering the reactor with concrete does not stop the laws of physics. The crippled reactor will eventually melt its way into the water table releasing radio active steam but this is O.K. with Mitch because only the peasants in the United States will get poisoned. Hey Mitch what do we do with the spend fuel which remains radioactive for thousands of years? If we bury the waste in caves what about an earthquake of the collapse of a cave? We need a loyal citizen of the United States for Senate, not Mitch McConnell.
