Hillary Clinton Wins Indiana And Barack Obama Wins North Carolina.
Jim Pence May 7th, 2008
Hillary Clinton squeaks by in Indiana with a 51 to 49 win and loses by 14 points in North Carolina.
Last night Tim Russert said “We now know who the Democratic nominee will be.” He added: “The Clintons have a big decision to make in the morning.”
I believe Tim Russert has it right. This race is over!!!!

By most counts, Obama has an unsurmountable delegate lead, as well as leading in the popular vote.
Superdelegates be dammed! She should hang it up now, and quit damaging the party. At this point, she is only helping Bomb Bomb Iran McCain.
I’d say Obama has it now.
I thought I’d let you know what State Rep Brent Yonts is sending out since you’re so worried about gas prices…
“A company specializing in coal-to-diesel technology will make a major announcement later this month concerning its plans to locate Kentucky’s first coal-to-diesel plant in Muhlenberg County.
The announcement will be made on Monday, May 12 at 1:30 p.m. CST at the Muhlenberg One Stop Retraining Center in Powderly. Rep. Brent Yonts, D-Greenville, who has worked with the company on the project, said the public is invited to attend.”
That came from one of the weekly emails Yonts sends to every schoolteacher in his district.
Oh, and I’m hearing through (different) underground sources that Dems in Owensboro are planning a political function in the next two weeks where they believe Hillary and Obama one or both might attend.
I plan to be in Owensboro this Saturday.
Here’s a summary of some good reasons to support Obama. Share it with friends across Kentucky. http://acropolisreview.com/2008/04/top-reasons-to-give-barack-obama-your.html
Well it seems like my source was wrong. But then again, he got it from someone who was asking him to moderate the panel, so no wonder the officials talked it up a bit to get him to agree!
P.S. he rejected them anyway.
