I don’t need a weather man to know which way the wind blows “Bob Dylan” and I don’t need political pundits to know that 16 years of Bush and Clinton are enough!
The winds blowing across Washington DC and into the heartland are putrid and I don’t need an environmentalist or an economist to know they are toxic and killing the American way of life.
The media and the DC politicians have a real problem and the problem is Barack Obama! Barack Obama is fresh, new, full of hope and they just can’t stand it and I don’t need the media to tell me the real issues will not be addressed on their outlets.
I don’ need a Lobbyist to tell me torture is ok, the Iraq war is a good thing, kicking folks out of their homes is a market thing, Brownie did a good job, devaluing the dollar will be good for us, 47 million Americans without healthcare insurance is OK, there is no global food crisis, and the National Debt is just a way of doing business.
All I need a new President of the United States of America that will represent me and that’s Barack Obama!!!!!!

Funny you should mention the weather man… I have a feeling we’ll here a lot about the weather man… the terrorist one that SNOBama is so buddy-buddy with. Last night at the Dem debate was the opening shot of the final Clinton assualt on Obama. We’ll be hearing about Obama bumping shoulders with this KNOWN (American) Terrorist. The end game has started. Clinton will win Pennsylvania then shift into overdrive on this association between Obama and the Weather terrorist to try to win North Carolina.
Will it work? Well, I wouldn’t count on Democratic primary voters to have any more sense then Democratic leaders so probably not… but it will hurt SNOBama come fall.

I have spent the last several days lamenting the fact that nobody in the news media has been talking about the issues. The Media has sidetracked us with a host of controversies that have little bearing on what is important to the voters ( Economy, Iraq, healthcare, food and fuel prices).

Charles Gibson and George Stephanopoulos, the moderators of Wednesday night’s presidential debate on ABC, became the subject of a fierce and somewhat unexpected debate themselves on Thursday, as viewers, bloggers and television critics lamented what they described as an opportunity lost: a chance to ask the two candidates for the Democratic nomination substantive questions early and often.
The media post-mortem — which boiled over in more than 17,600 comments posted on the ABC Web site alone — also touched on questions that had long been simmering in the protracted Democratic campaign over the role of moderators in televised debates, to say nothing of political journalists generally.
If there was a common theme, it was that Mr. Gibson and Mr. Stephanopoulos had front-loaded the debate with questions that many viewers said they considered irrelevant when measured against the faltering economy or the Iraq war……….
“We set a new record because it took us 45 minutes before we even started talking about a single issue that matters to the American people,” Mr. Obama told an audience of nearly 2,000 in Raleigh, N.C., many of whom applauded.
It’s interesting to see the blogs abuzz with the fact that folks weren’t too impressed with the format and contents of last nights debate(if you want to call it that). It’s nice to see that people are really more interested in the issues than the dog and pony shows.

I think Hero, and all his GOP cohorts, know damn well that McCain has a black daughter. His slimy buddies Rove, Bush and Cheney tried to make it a wedge issue against poor old McCain in the primary he ran against Bush. Disgusting crap, to say the least.
But Bush gave ole McSame a big hug in public, and made everything A-OK. Now McSame wants to be just like Bush. Republicans have no shame, you can’t teach ‘em a damn thing! Ain’t no sense in even trying.
