I shot a few photos at the “I love Mountains Day” in Frankfort, Ky. and put them to the music of “Kentucky Borderline” by Rhonda Vincent and The Rage. Enjoy.
Jim, Thanks for these photos from an awesome protest on 2/14 — which was a CALL TO ACTION to save our mountains. Too bad it wasn’t newsworthy enough for the Herald-Leader or CJ (section D, p. 1 on 2/15).
Not one more mountain destroyed. We all must respond to this call for collective action.
This is a moral issue that city people seem to sweep under the rug. If you knew people who had to boil water in Louisville or Lexington, you would be outraged. There were people of all ages at the event on 2/14.
We can make a difference by calling our legislators and demanding HB 164 get a hearing.
