Ron Lewis won’t be running for reelection in KY-2. Reid Haire will join David Boswell in the Democratic primary for the seat.

Bruce Lunsford is in, joining a ton of Democrats who want to DITCH MITCH!

    Good God! I have to concur with “UM, WOW”. This is a pleasant surprise. Ron Lewis is what I’ve referred to as a mini-Mitch. This is good news for Owensboro.

    The Democrats are no big respecters of money. The candidate who best addresses the views of the Democratic voters will get the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate for Kentucky this year.

    To be fair Reid Haire told Boswell that he’d be running much earlier, you post makes it seem like he got in after Lewis’ announcement which wasn’t the case.
    By the way, anyone else find it humorous that Boswell’s casino bill specifically sets aside a Casino for the Executive Inn in Owensboro, the exact same place he WORKS for!

    Talk about paying back your buddies! What corruption!

    My post doesn’t indicate anything of the sort. It simply states that he filed officially. I think anyone who knows anything realizes Haire has been considering this for quite some time.

    The Big E has been a sore spot in that area for quite some time. I don’t find it humorous at all.
