HEATHER, HEAVEN AND SENATOR MITCH MCCONNELL. YOUTUBE VIDEO.

Jim Pence January 24th, 2008

Yesterday I went to Paducah, Kentucky to find out what the hell is going on with Heather Ryan. I called Mike Watt, a Western Kentucky progressive activist, better known as kilowat, to help me find Heather Ryan and shoot some video if necessary.
I really didn’t know what to expect and neither did Mike, but we both thought this was something that needed to be looked into. Well let me tell you it was worth the 6 hr. round trip drive and $59.00 of over priced gasoline.
I found Heather Ryan to be a very articulate and well educated young lady and Heather’s daughters Ireland and Heaven adorable.
I listened to them tried to be as objectivly as possible remembering back when I was twelve years old and how I worried about my parents and I was convinced that Heather and Heaven had been shit on by one of the most powerful men in the United states of America, Senator Mitch McConnell. Heaven is just a little girl worried about her biological dad and she is willing to ask the questions that become so clear to an old fart like me, when I take the time to think about it, and her mother Heather Ryan should be commended, not condemned, for allowing her daughter to express her real feelings.
When I rolled out of
Paducah, Kentucky I felt just a little bit guilty, because I had just met two females a mom and a little girl that have bigger balls than I do!!!!!!

    *[new] Heather’s in the house! (0.00 / 0)
Hey everyone! This is my first blog post - I just created an account especially for this discussion! My husband stated that he would back me in a race against “Special Interest Eddie Whitfield” if we could come up with the $500.00 filing fee by next week. I already have all the background info on Special Ed - just a matter of raising the funds! Not to mention, I have a heck of a lot more time on my hands now :(. Thanks everyone for your support! It is greatly appreciated!
P.S. for anyone who thinks the tape on YouTube is edited, I will gladly let them see the original. There are no “fast forwarded section” or “edits” - it took us a week to figure out how to post to YouTube, I think it’s easy to believe that I don’t know how to edit!! Thanks again for all of your support! Heather Ryan

Paducah. I had a law school classmate from Paducah–Holly Orgill. She married a Sparrow, I think. Does she still drop by Paducah for the holidays?
Heather’s treatment is just another reason, this fall, we need to DITCH MITCH! Is a boycott of that cinema in order?

Thanks Heather, Heaven, and family for this video. You presented a strong case for your right to ask McConnell about the War, and Heaven’s question at the end of the video should be repeated until you get an answer from McConnell.

    Here’s another question:
WHY was McConnell allowed to film a political campaign commercial in a non-profit institution with a 501C(3) status? Do the laws apply to McConnell? Will he be charged, fined, and held accountable for breaking the law?

didn’t you say the same about Besheare!!

  8. tristateareasvoiceon 25 Jan 2008 at 12:50 pm

I want ask if it is true that the child involved in the event had a sign that stated ” I am not Mitch’s Bitch “.

    Was such a sign present?

  9. kilowaton 25 Jan 2008 at 1:28 pm

need someone to read it to you!!!

  10. Tzmanon 25 Jan 2008 at 2:36 pm

Amazing! I made a comment that disagreed with the firing of Heather Ryan and is gets canned. Talk about media censorship! You’ll get along just fine with Hillery and her socialist programs.

  11. Tzmanon 25 Jan 2008 at 2:37 pm

Not disagreed, AGREED! They were 100% right in firing her! You got me so bent I can’t stand it!

  12. Joe Sonkaon 25 Jan 2008 at 4:28 pm

nope, it said “you’re no alban barkley” , but you knew that already, Troll.

  13. M. Gavneron 26 Jan 2008 at 1:09 am

Tzman - perhaps it would be good idea if you continue to be “bent”.

I know, first hand, how politics works in McCracken Co. and believe me, I’m really fed up with it! I may work in McCracken County, but, I don’t support it’s brand of politics, especially when you have an asinine idiot like Dead-Head Fred Paxton at the helm. The clown doesn’t have a clue as to how to run a city government.

As such, the old party puppets of the Fletcher administration are still out there spreading the usual venom and quite frankly, I’ve never had a whole lot of use for Repukelicans.

As it stands, Bubba, you’re in a minority group and we really don’t need any of your insight; so, just mosey on down the road.

As for Heather Ryan being fired for her standing up to McConnell, I say there will be hell to pay come November………I’m all for “Bush’s water boy” to find a new vocation. He isn’t a representative for Western KY, simply because he doesn’t have a clue as to how we think or at the least, how the majority of us think.

  14. Tzmanon 26 Jan 2008 at 10:01 am

Bubba! HaHaHaHaHaHa that’s funny. Gavner your comments are narrow mind, liberal, socialist crap. I don’t like McConnell. Don’t know about Paxton, but haven’t cared for what I’ve read. But I’m always willing to listen and discuss issues. I don’t condone censoring commentary, which this site did, just because it was different than mine. Thank God for leaders with some cojones like Bush and Reagan.

Finally got around to watching this, Jim. Great video. Cute kiddos!

Tzman, Welcome to DitchMitchKY. May you learn a thing or two about the corrupt, arrogant war-monger Sen. Mitch McConnell. The good people of Kentucky deserve better than Mitch.

tristateareasvoice– you heard correctly. That was in fact one of Heather’s signs. I am shocked at those who would outright lie and say otherwise.

  21. Jayon 28 Jan 2008 at 5:06 pm

I’m all for questioning political figures, especially this one. I just have to wonder if the approach wasn’t half of the problem. I agree that she likely should not have been fired over the incident. Her background and situation make Mrs. Ryan the perfect voice for that situation. I understand we can lose ourselves in the excitement of the moment. I only point out that it would have been a great deal easier for Mrs. Ryan to defend herself from opposing viewpoints if the tone had been different. If she can keep her message focused and clear, she should have a good run at all things political. I wish her the best of luck in her campaign.
