George W. Bush: Mitch McConnell’s BFF

Congressional Quarterly just released its annual ratings of Presidential support by members of Congress, and guess who was right up there near the top? Our boy, Mitch McConnell.
In 2007, McConnell backed President Bush's policy position 86% of the time, just shy of John Cornyn at #1 with 91%. That would be the same President Bush who has a 37% approval rating and a 61% disapproval rating in Kentucky. The same Presidnet Bush who's approval rating hasn't cracked 42% in KY in the last 16 months.
Kentuckians want change, and they don't want someone who rubber stamps whatever a failure like George W. Bush wants. Nor do they want to re-elect a Senator who describes Bush this way.
Mitch McConnell of Kentucky called Bush "one of the great presidents in the history of the United States."
The campaign commercials just write themselves, don't they?

Current “right/wrong” track polling indicates over 70% think we are on the wrong track as a nation. McConnell has been a key force in putting the USA on the wrong track. Wake up, flush this turkey!
were filling the tank!it may take several flushes lol
So “Mitch” thinks G.W.Bush is the one of the great Presidents, eh? Some Democrats think G.W.Bush is the worst President ever. On a blogspot, I said a kind word about G.W.Bush; I opined that Ulysses (Useless?) Grant still holds the record as the worst President ever, and G.W.Bush is merely the second worst President ever. Of course, G.W. Bush has several more months to “leave a legacy”.
Grant might have been “useless” and corrupt, but so is Bush. Grant, however, didn’t start a disastrous war on false pretenses. Nor did he scrap the Constitution in favor of a “unitary executive” wannabe-dictatorship.
