THE MOST REVEREND CONGRESSMAN RON LEWIS HAS AN OPPONENT, DAVID BOSWELL!!!!!
Jim Pence November 8th, 2007
The Most Reverend Congressman Ron Lewis has an opponent and David Boswell is his name. I’m looking forward to Reverend Ron telling us; when he will debate David Boswell, more about George Reuthebuck, if he was ever arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, why he voted against SCHIP, when he will invite Dick Cheney come to Kentucky to raise money for him, how many terms he will run, what kind of Mercedes he will ride around in, why he voted for the drug companies and against senior citizens, why he voted against the minimum wage increase, how much he will pay Kayi to run his campaign, if he is a Southern Baptist, what he has done to lower the national debt, how many jobs he wants to send to Mexico or Communist China, why he wants better health care insurance, for himself and his family, than the rest of us have or can afford and when will he vote for another give away trade agreement like CAFTA?
Hells Bells I could go on forever.
This race between David Boswell and “girly man Ron” is going to be more fun than delivering diapers to David Vitter.

Can you elaborate on some of the issues you nuanced in the above referrenced piece? Some of us don’t like Lewis without reason … other than religeoas personalities don’t belong in government. That includes the Berrigans.
Is it true, or just a nasty rumor, that the Rev. Ron is one of many southern republican religious leaders heading to the newly built Aztec Pyramid in Atlanta Ga. this week? Due to the extended drought, Gov. Perdue (R) of Georgia has called on all his religious buddies to come pray to the rain god Chac-Mal. Maybe they will have to rip the hearts from a few S-CHIP children as ancient ritual demands. If they make the kids cry enough, Chac awards extra rain for the tears.
Just wondering ……….?
In Lewis’s mind, I’m sure SCHIP is unnecessary because Jesus saves, and therefore He has all the critically ill children covered. Jesus is their health insurance (albeit it catastrophic coverage). Why waste rich people’s money otherwise? They can use that money to build a bigger mega-church.
just read this over at bluesgrassreport.com
KY-2: Is U.S. Rep. Ron Lewis (R) About To Step-Down From His House Seat And Not Seek Re-Election?
While political rumors are a dime a dozen, there is some reason to wonder whether there’s something to this one.
Apparently, there is a lot of chatter that U.S. Rep. Ron Lewis (R) is planning to step down from his seat and not run for re-election this year, and instead plans to move to Florida. This rumor is based on two sources from Lewis’ area. Somewhat corroborative is the fact that Lewis’ home in Cecilia, KY is for sale, as is his late father’s home also in Cecilia. Furthermore, the talk is that Senator McConnell (R) wants Hardin County Judge-Executive Harry Berry (R) (Anne Northup’s (R) campaign treasurer during her gubernatorial bid) to run for Lewis’ seat.
A couple of things.
First, I have confirmed that Lewis’ home in Cecilia is indeed for sale for $689,000. Hornback Realty Company in Elizabethtown is the listing agent. Here’s the listing (by the way, click here to see that it matches-up with Lewis’ address):
