He Didn’t Win That Either, Sen. McConnell

Terri Whitehouse November 7th, 2007

Regarding Gov. Ernie Fletcher’s defeat, Sen. Mitch McConnell says:

Ernie Fletcher ran a hard-fought campaign that showed a deep commitment to the Commonwealth and to the principles that propelled him into office four years ago. He lost the race, but won our respect by fighting hard to build on the achievements of his term — achievements that will benefit Kentucky for many years to come.

You respect bigots, Sen. McConnell? Do you even believe your own lies any more?

My misspellings, and typos above seem to prove the old adage “ It is better to remain silent, and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and prove it beyond all doubt.” Excuse the carelessness.

Sorry I’m late to the party! I just caught the site from a blog link. I have known Mitch sucked from many years ago with he was County Judge Executive of Jefferson County and he nixed local public funding for the KY Center for the Arts. These chickenhawks only believe in public funding for wars and other corporate welfare scams. Here’s hoping these are the end times for this wonk. Cheers!
