It was not a $60,000 check...it was a few hundred dollars to replace the emblems on a Lexus SUV that had an MSRP of $60,000. 2. The Magistrate dismissed the case without qualification upon learning that the issue was really miscommunication. The guy waited over 3 months to attempt to cash the check by which time that particular account was closed and Rev. Markel received no notice until over a year later when he was seen on television advocating for a family. 3. If Rev. Markel can afford a $60,000 SUV from his speeches and business ventures, more power to him...$60,000 SOUNDS LIKE ALLOT OF GREEN TO ME!!! The Facts:
